Bootsie is Back

Bootsie thought he had a new home, but it didn't last. There was an energetic five-year-old boy who frightened him and a woman who he really loved but she didn't have enough time for him. He would nibble on her ears and knead her chest while she tried to sleep. He's the first cat I've known who was returned for being too affectionate. I hope he'll find a new home soon where he can get all the love and attention he deserves.

Aw!! He sounds just like my cat Jenna. Somebody else will love him. Now we know to let people know how sweet he is.

About 10 years ago, we took in a stray half-grown cat. Every night for about a week, she woke us up every half hour, purring and kneading, which was evidently just to let us know how happy she was that she had a home. Finally, she settled down. Bootsie's potential adopters should be aware that this behavior will pass.
